In 2022 Elizabeth was selected to be one of the speaker coaches for The Knowledge Graph Conference in NYC and globally online. This year, in 2023, the Knowledge Graph Conference extended an offer to Elizabeth to take on a leadership role as their Master Speaker Coach. There were over 80 presentations, 20 workshops and masterclasses, and over 100 speakers Elizabeth had the opportunity to coach for a few months before the conference. In the consulting industry, each situation is unique and requires a specific set of solutions. For this project, we helped our client understand different leadership styles and define the ideal outcome for various situations. Through strategic planning and training in the psychology of organizational leadership, we achieved a great end result.
WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP
Full-day workshop
A full-day workshop was created based on a Women's Leadership Program Elizabeth Ruiz created while in graduate school at Columbia University in the City of New York during her Leadership Development course taught by the Dean. Her final project grew into a program, a workbook, and then a full-day workshop. The original project she created at Columbia may be found on her LinkedIn page under the education section, under the Columbia University section.
HOW TO EXPAND YOUR LEADERSHIP SKILL SET & STAND OUT
2-hour workshop
A 2-hour workshop created including an assessment for registered attendees to take one week before the workshop. Also created a customized workbook for the attendees to fill in during the session. This workshop helped set up a short-term plan with long term benefits. Workshop provided expert advice and strategic planning to help attendees with retention and implementation.

Elizabeth flew to Wiley DiSC headquarters for a week for training, exam, and certification with Wiley products in Everything DiSC.

Leadership Workshop at the Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain for Academic Honor Society University Students
1-hour workshop
A one-hour workshop was created based on a book Elizabeth Ruiz wrote, Global Business & Social Dining Etiquette: RSVP to Thank You Notes & Everything in Between. An exam was created to take before the workshop begins and after the workshop to check retention of learning. Each attendee receives hands on training, a book, and exam.

OVERCOMING ADVERSITY

University of Houston-Downtown Communication Studies Department held their second annual Public Speaking Competition November, 2017. Monetary awards were given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Elizabeth A. Ruiz won 1st place in the University of Houston-Downtown 2017 Public Speaking Competition. Theme was to speak about a true story of overcoming adversity. Speech was about surviving 9/11 & how to not wait for a crisis situation to follow your dreams.
